Guiding Avila Energy Partners in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, Grant Norwood focuses on oil and gas leases and exploration projects. Among the additional services provided by Grant Norwood and his TX team are mineral rights acquisitions and sales on behalf of mineral rights owners.

After studying political science North Central Texas College, Mr. Norwood founded Norwood Energy Corp. in 2016 and developed a results-driven acquisition process. With an initial focus on the purchase of minerals in-house, his company rapidly grew to encompass operations in several states.

Still leading the firm, he provides free asset valuations and participates directly in prospect generation and drilling projects. Working in tandem with G2 Petroleum, that company has drilled more than 100 wells in the Ft. Worth Basin. His company also works with Avila Energy Partners, as well as Rosetta Land Service and Fortune Royalty Operating.

Grant Norwood enjoys fishing and rodeo in his free time and earned Breed Reserve Champion recognition at the 2006 Ft. Worth Stock show.
